ROAD & TRAVEL Magazine presented its fourth annual HEART STRING Award on Jan. 12, 2008 at its 2008 International Car of the Year (ICOTY) Awards to honor an automaker and its agency for the most emotionally compelling car commercial that ran on national television in 2007.
The tribute, produced and presented by Road & Travel Magazine, is designed to recognize how well automakers connect cars and consumers based on lifestyle and the emotional experience during ownership. The top three commercials in the category were Dodge Caravan's "Rooms" by BBDO Detroit, Lincoln MKZ's "Runner" by Young & Rubicam Detroit and Hyundai's "Air" by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, each of which received recognition at the event.
