Discover Michigan - Home to Motor City USA

Discover Michigan, USA

The Detroit Skyline
The Detroit Skyline

Michigan is considered one of the best kept secrets in America. Detroit is known as the automotive capital of the world, as well as the home to Motown music. Once a burned out city and known as the murder capital of the world, this 300-year-old city is evolving into a world class business center.

Perched on the Detroit River facing Windsor, Canada, there is plenty to do and see. Downtown hosts many wonderful hotels and restaurants and is only a stone's throw from the bridge or tunnel that connects to Canada. Get out into the 'burbs and you'll find plenty of beautiful scenery, 3,000 miles of Great Lakes which surrounds the peninsula state, and more boating and water activities than anywhere else in the country.

The natives offer old fashion Midwestern hospitality while still managing to keep some of the biggest corporations in America in smooth running order. This is one state that should not to be underestimated in any way.
