Nissan's
new ad campaign couldn't have said it better: Moms have changed
shouldn't
the minivan? It's
true, however. Moms (and Dads and kids and everyone else) indeed have changed.
So has what we demand in our automobiles. Now, it's not good enough to just have
an engine, we need power. It's not good enough to have mere space, we need tons
of space. It's not good enough to look okay, we need to look fabulous. And
so the minivan has evolved. In contrast to the breadboxes-on-wheels we saw in
the '80s and '90s, today's minivans look smart, sassy, very new millennium. Not
only that, but they come filled with countless innovations that would have seemed
nothing short of science fiction when minivans first hit the scene. Most now have
four doors, many offer all-wheel drive, Nearly all make more than 200 horsepower
and some even offer DVD players to entertain the kids. And that's just the beginning.
Read
on to check out the variety of 2004 minivans available today from which today's
demanding families can choose. But just be ready for anything, or rather, be ready
for everything.
