Cruise Line’s Offers Spa Suites
Relaxing
in ultimate luxury, cruisers aboard the
Carnival Splendor can soon enjoy the most
luxurious spa amenities while drifting
gently on the high seas.
Carnival
Cruise Line recently introduced its newest
addition, the Cloud9 Spa, which is scheduled
to set sail on the Splendor in July 2008.
The
recently named 21,000-square-foot, full-service
day spa and its glamorous amenities will
be available for Carnival's Northern European
cruising program.

According
to Christine Arnholt, Carnival's vice
president of marketing services, the Cloud9
Spa gives cruisers the high-end pampering
they associate with day spas.
“Carnival
Splendor’s spa promises to be the
most elaborate and luxurious at sea, and
the name Cloud9 Spa truly embodies the
feeling of pampering, relaxation and rejuvenation
that guests will experience within this
spacious and modern facility,” she
said.
Spanning
the forward portion of two full decks
with large picture windows and a panoramic
view, the Cloud9 will offer a host of
innovations including 68 exclusive spa
staterooms and suites.
Also
available will be a soothing, glass-domed
Thalassotherapy Pool with heated ionized
water and pusating jets. Additionally,
an elaborate, poolside Thermal Suite offers
four climate-controlled rooms with varying
degrees of temperature.
Guests
who book the Cloud9 Spa's staterooms and
suites will receive exclusive amenities
and privileges including unlimited access
to the spa and its facilities, priority
spa appointments and complimentary fitness
classes. Custom-designed Cloud9 Spa stateroom
amenity items including personal fitness
bands and yoga mats available for use
during every cruise.
Seventeen
private treatment rooms, including two
VIP facilities for couples, will serve
as the venue for the spa's sophisticated
menu of soothing and exotic Asian, Middle
Eastern and European-style therapies.
A post-treatment area allows guest to
relax on Asian-inspired beds admidst magnificent
sea views.

In
addition to the stunning spa facility,
the Splendor will offer a full gymnasium
with expansive workout areas and features
such as exercise equipment, treadmills,
stair climbers and rowing machines. A
beauty salon, barber, teeth-whitening
venue and manicure/pedicure areas are
also available. The Carnival Splendor
offers cruisers a wide range of health-conscious
dining options as well including a salad
bar, 24-hour frozen yogurt stand and menu
options lower in calories, fat and sodium.
