Best Car Interiors for Model Year 2006
Conjur up images of your dream car and you'll likely see a shiny, sleek vehicle parked, fittingly, outside of your garage. While an incredible car exterior speaks volumes, on the road and off, so does a well-designed interior. In fact, if it weren't for the comfy spaces inside the car, you might not get any closer to the road than, well, your driveway.
So, which are best? According to the 7th annual automotive "Interior of the Year" awards, hosted by Wards Auto World, the Audi A3 wins for overall Best Popular-Priced Car interior, while the Mazda CX-7 snags Best Popular-Priced CUV interior and Toyota's FJ Cruiser nabs Best Popular-Priced Truck interior.
When it comes to premium vehicles,
Land Rover Range Rover Sport scores best for truck. CUV honors go to Subaru B9 Tribeca and the Lincoln Zephyr wins (in both media and industry votes) for best Premium-Priced Car interior.
Not unnoticed were vehicle featues like navigation systems and updated, multiple-disc sound systems. Below is a listing of winners voted on by 69 automotive journalists.
